India vs Sri Lanka, 2nd Test In Colombo From 3rd August-7th August.

Standing at number one in the Current Test rankings, India played just as according to their reputation in the first Test against hosts Sri Lanka. The visitors completely demolished the Lankan lions in all departments of the game and registered a thumping win in the Galle Test by a massive margin of 304 runs.

Both sides will now move to Colombo where they are gearing up to play the second Test of the three-match series. Kohli’s men will look to firmly seal the series by winning the match and repeat the similar scenario which they achieved in 2015. However Sri Lanka will be eager to regain their lost composure and proe maybe a point or two while playing at their homeland against the dominant Indian team. Sri Lanka will be boosted by the return of full-time skipper Dinesh Chandimal who missed sadly the first Test due to pneumonia.

Seasoned batsman Lahiru Thirimanne has also been summoned as a replacement for injured Asela Gunaratne who sadly broke his left thumb whilst fielding on day one of the first Test and was ruled out of the remainder of the series.

We have an interesting battle in our hands as both the teams look to put their best foot forward in the 2nd Test which starts on Thursday.
