Day 2 of the first test match saw India continue to dominate as they smashed a mighty 600/10.
Predominantly India’s all rounders and bowlers hit a lot of runs to increase the tally. Hardik Pandya seemed to be the highlight on his test debut as the young man grabbed some great boundaries of five (4s), and three (6s).
As the Sri Lankan batting order lined up to face Team India bowlers, they were met with a even tougher challenge. India’s bowlers really rose up today to wipe out the lankans top batting order for 154/5.
An exceptional performance from U.P.’s Mohammed Shami who grabbed two wickets from 9 overs. Umesh Yadav grabbed India’s other wicket along with Ravichandran Ashwin taking another.
THE SECOND DAY BELONGS TO TEAM INDIA’S BOWLERS who put on a great batting performance and prevent Sri Lanka from scoring many runs.
